The location is quite near the airport. You could take the airport shuttle that hotel provides or take the train. Metro station is just 8 minutes far. There are supermarkets, restaurants and shops near the place to cover all that is needed. Amazing supportive staff. You can communicate in English and any time of the day and services are with utmost respect and responsibility. Food was good and restaurant can accommodate you with your food at your room any time of the day. I personally enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was peaceful and delicious.

We had a 30 hour layover at IST and didn’t want to be at the mercy of Turkish Air even though they would have given us a free night on a long layover. This place was inexpensive (a little over USD $50/night), clean, warm and very well located. The breakfast buffet was OK but not particularly outstanding by Turkish standards. One service that would really make this hotel THE choice in Arnavutkoy would be free or reasonably priced airport transfer. As is, the hotel charges €25 each way which adds up to the same cost as the room. We got a cab for about €10 each way but not everyone wants to deal with the hassle and potential rip-offs from Turkish cabbies. The employees at the property were universally helpful and even ingratiating. TV was a little difficult to figure out with instructions in Arabic, but did provide about 150 Turkish channels and 2 English news channels. The neighborhood was good with lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The new Istanbul metro stop is a 15 minute walk away and I took the M11 line to Gayrettepe (?sp) where there is a plethora of very upscale shops and restaurants. Tip: the metro fare machine apparently won’t accept any bill lower than a TL 200 note which I found out after a few minutes of trying to feed it TL 100 notes. All in all this is a great hotel in a great location and I would highly recommend it if you have a significant layover at IST.

20 mins from the airport. Very good breakfast. There are a lot of restaurants around.

Nice hotel near the product shop and the Shopping Mall. 20 minutes from/to Istanbul airport. Excellent service from staff: Ahmed and Burak at the Reception were helpful and friendly, and ready to satisfy my requests, Ibrahim helped with luggage, and Ersin was attentive at the restaurant. Nice breakfast. It was the first time I had a pleasant experience with taxi travel without stress and attempts to scam.

What a beautiful experience I had for short transit stay in Istport Hotel. The management changed recently, so ignore most of the previous bad reviews. IBRAHIM GÜNEŞ is a young lad who serves your breakfast very professional and looks after you, you can also have great conversation if you need and advise while staying here. Rooms are best so far for the price I paid and breakfast AWESOME!!!!!!!!
